Jen Wilburn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. She is also a certified Intrinsic Life Coach. Jen Wilburn holds a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. She has dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Psychology and Creative Writing, English "with Honors" from Florida State University.
Jen specializes in adults with childhood sexual abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and mental health associated with medical conditions and aging. She facilitates therapeutic groups and classes, as well as authors and delivers educational awareness trainings for corporate trainings or private events. Moreover, she is a writing expert for resumes, cover letters, curriculum vitas, literature reviews and qualitative analysis.
In addition to the private practice, Jen currently serves full time as the Accessibility Consultant for Florida Blue. In this role, Jen is a consultant on accessibility, accommodations, and workplace environmental and attitudinal inclusion for employees of all varying disabilities (psychological, physiological, and anatomical). She leads many of the company's inclusion initiatives for Veterans and People with Disabilities. In 2017, her work largely contributed to the company's national award "Employer of the Year with less than 100K employees" for disability inclusion by the USBLN.
As a hobby, Jen is a participating artist in the Jax Beach Art Walk, held every second Tuesday of each month. She crafts various items, including succulents in unique pots, barefoot sandals, and seashell jewelry.
